Community rallies to support the Wendell Animal ShelterWendell
Some people are calling it a Christmas miracle.
Within 72 hours, the community gathered together to provide supplies for much needed dog shelters for the Wendell Animal Shelter. The shelter only had a lean-to for dogs to find comfort from the cold, but with these frigid temperatures, tt was clear, something else was needed to protect the animals. Through word of mouth, those at the Jerome Animal Shelter got in touch with others, who spread the word about the great need. The Boy Scouts were on hand to help build, and some stores donated all the supplies for the shelters. If you want to help out, the Wendell Animal Shelter is still in need of supplies.
