Twin Falls

Just two weeks ago the U.S. Bank on Blue Lakes Boulevard was robbed at gunpoint.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken by a male suspect.
Since then Twin Falls Police have been following leads and tips in the case and are looking for help from the public.

The Twin Falls Police department continues to investigate the robbery of the U.S. Bank the afternoon of December 16th.

Surveillance video, and snap shots provided by police show a suspect believed to be a man, who walked in to the bank with a hooded jacket, jeans, tennis shoes, wearing gloves and holding a handgun.

The man demanded money from a teller and walked away with an undisclosed amount of money. So far the suspect is still at large.
Now investigators are focusing on one item the suspect was wearing: the hoodie jacket.

Twin Falls Police Staff Sgt. Dan Lewin said, "This type of jacket and design is rather unique. We haven't been able to find anything locally in clothing stores or even online that's similar to this."

Originally it was thought the jacket was camouflaged, but a second look discovered patterns. "If you look at the pattern of the fabric it's pretty much made up of either profile skulls, flaming skulls or full face on view of skulls."

Police say its uncertain if the suspect is local or someone who purposefully came to the area to rob the bank. Now, police are hoping the public can help them figure out where the jacket came from and lead them to the suspect.
