A Twin Falls family is celebrating the birth of their son, who happens to be the first baby born at Saint Luke’s Magic Valley Regional Hospital, for the new year.

Rochelle and Chad Jones are welcoming their second child, Logan Phillip Jones. Dr. Monte Crandall and labor nurse Charity Madsen helped deliver Logan.

He came into the world weighing six pounds, nine ounces, and is 19.5 inches long. The Jones' already have a 5-year-old daughter.
A fun aspect to this story: Saint Luke’s always gives out gift baskets to new families, but for the new year's baby, Filer High School senior Elizabeth Guiteirrez organized a special gift basket for them, for her senior project.

Baby Logan is the last new year's baby to be born at Saint Luke’s on Addison, as the hospital is moving to their new location off Pole Line later in the year.
