What amazes me about Steve is that I have met young people he has arrested and they are thankful to him for helping them get the help they need to get their lives together. This has happened more than once. To me, that says a lot about the person that he is. He positively influences the lives of all he has contact with.

Steve has 15 years of combined law enforcement experience in Blaine County, 12 of which are with the Hailey Police Department; currently as the Patrol Lieutenant and Lead Investigator.

Steve honorably served our Country for 3 years in the United States Navy.

Steve volunteers with Camp Rainbow Gold (Children’s Oncology Camp) for 8 years with 4 of those being a Camp Director


5 years on the Board of Directors for The Advocates for Survivors of Domestic Violence with 2 of those as Secretary

Serving on the advisory board of Engaging Men and Boys

Previously served with the Blaine County Community Drug Coalition and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
