CPT Martin J Lee

By Paul Johnson

Captain Lee joined the Army at 18 and currently has 16 years of service under his belt.
As an enlisted soldier Martin earned the title Army Ranger and was stationed at Ft Lewis WA where he deployed in Operation Uphold Democracy, as well as traveling the globe in training.
After spending time in the Idaho National Guard, (2/116th In Haley), Lee received his commission as an Army Officer in 2004 at Idaho State University.
In 2006 Martin deployed to Iraq spending a total of 15 months in Ba'Quabah, Mosul, Baghdad and Fallujah.
Today as a Troop Commander, CPT Lee is preparing for his second deployment to Iraq later this summer. Once again he selflessly leaves behind a wife and two young boys.
Martin Lee graduated from Jerome High School in 1992, and has many loving and supportive friends and family members in the Magic Valley.
There has never been a better soldier, leader, husband, and father.
