Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Our Hometown Hero tonight is Sgt. Chris Workman.

Sgt. Workman tragically lost his life in a helicopter crash on April 19th in the Helmand province of Afghanistan.

The United States Army will transfer Workman's remains to the family tomorrow afternoon at Gowen field in Boise.

His funeral is scheduled for Thursday in Eagle.

And then on Friday, the public is welcomed to attend the Interment at the Rupert Public Cemetery.

The event begins at three.

The Rupert native leaves behind a wife and a stepson.
