Interesting, but I save clients not 60% but 100% on their gas and electrical costs as I build Energy Star qualified homes and pay the costs for G & E for 1 full year. Our homes are so tightly constructed that its almost unmeasureable.

All work should require permits. Not necessarliy be charged. If contractor involved, they should show a current and updated liability and comp insurance policy. If roofing involved, must show at least 75% roofing admendment. Check them out.
