TWIN FALLS--KMVT’s Agri-Action 2011, opens Thursday, February 3 and continues through Saturday, February 5, at the College of Southern Idaho's Expo Center in Twin Falls. The times for the show will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday the doors will be open from 10 am to 4 pm. In its 34th year, this annual farm exhibit promises a diverse showing of agricultural products and services. Exhibits will include a variety of tractor and implement displays, livestock and dairy products and services, chemical and seed dealers, irrigation and water treatment system representatives, financing, communication, real estate and many other products and support services. Admission is $1, with children 6 and under admitted free. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the College of Southern Idaho Agricultural, Consumer & Environmental Science (ACES) department. With the donation of at least 2 non-perishable food items, the admission fee will be waived. The food will be given to South Central Community Action Partnerships. The food drive is in conjunction with Western States Cat who is currently conducting a Dump Hunger campaign throughout the state.
