Good Samaritans Die Helping Car Accident Victims
Los Angeles, California (CNN) - Two people trying to help a driver after a crash... were killed when they were electrocuted by a damaged light pole.
It happened yesterday (Wednesday) in the Valley Village neighborhood of Los Angeles. Authorities say the driver crashed into a fire hydrant and the light pole in front of a home. A neighbor and a woman in another vehicle who saw the crash rushed to the scene to help. But firefighters say both women were hit with a fatal electric shock when exposed wires from the light pole came in contact with the rushing water.
