Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The College of Southern Idaho Fine Arts Theater was filled this evening.

Boise State University piano professor and concert pianist Del Parkinson performed the theme ‘impressionism’, featured music from Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy.

The presentation included impressionist paintings that blend music, art, and narration.

"I love coming here, they have a scholarship program for their piano majors and this concert I do every September is a benefit for that piano scholarship fund” said Dr. Del Parkinson, Pianist.

Parkinson has performed in Europe, Asia, South America, and throughout the U.S.

He is a former recipient of the governor's award for excellence in the arts.
