CSI Spectrum Club Holds First Ever Pride Fest

By KMVT News

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The CSI Spectrum Club held its first-ever Pride Fest today.

The event was the first of its kind in Twin Falls, but similar events are held nationwide each year.

Event organizers say it was all about creating a fun, safe and empowering space to celebrate and promote the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

But Saturday's Pride Fest was open to everyone.

Organizer Tia Welch explains, "Our target is anyone that is open to celebrating diversity; regardless of whether they belong to the LGBT community, or even people that are just open to coming out and listening to music and getting information and having fun."
The event was co-sponsored by the CSI Diversity Council, ACLU and Canyon Motors Subaru.
