RUPERT, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - The 2011 'Christmas on the Ranch is coming to a close this weekend.

This marks the third year the Idaho Youth Ranch hosted the event. Sunday is the last day you can head out to the Rupert area to enjoy 40 acres of holiday lights and displays.

The ranch is open from 6:30 to 8:30 in the evening. The entire family can enjoy hot cocoa and homemade cookies. A donation to the Idaho Youth Ranch gets you a photo with Santa Claus.

Director Jim Stockberger says this year's display is even better than the last, with more lights and activities.

The Idaho Youth Ranch offers a safe place for troubled children. The facility is complete with a school, gym, chapel and equine therapy program.
