Car Chase in Twin FallsTwin Falls City and county officers are searching for the two men responsible for leading them on a car chase early Thursday morning. According to Sergeant Bishop, the pursuit began just after 3 a.m. The two men were allegedly dropped off at a private residence at 3350 east 3370 north just south of Kimberly by an older vehicle. The owners of the stolen car say they thought it was the mail man. They then noticed that two dark figures jumped into their car and took off. KMVT picked up reports of the suspect topping speeds of 100 mph in the stolen car but that has not been confirmed by police. Poilce say the stolen vehicle went up north on Blue Lakes, pulled into a private lane outside of city limits at 3500 north and after being cornered by police they vacated the vehicle and ran. County and city officers set up a permiter around the area but after over two hours the men still have not been found. Police are still on the lookout for the two men. They think the men were picked up by the older vehicle that first dropped them off at the private residence. If you have any information call Police at (208) 736-4040. Comments ( |
