HANSEN, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - Magic Mountain ski resort did not open as planned Saturday.

Owner Suzette Miller says she hopes the mountain can open its slopes for the season next Saturday instead, which is Christmas Eve.

Miller says the mountain needs about six more inches of snow before its safe for visitors.

The resort offers skiing, snowboarding and tubing for people of all ages, and children under six always ski for free.

Once the mountain is open, you can check hours of operation and pricing by calling (208) 736-SNOW.
