Gearing Up For The 37th Annual Agri Action

By Joey Martin

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) the 37th annual Agri Action Expo is a little over a month and a half away.

And for this week's segment of Grow Southern Idaho.

Joey martin for Idaho’s first news gives us a look at what you can expect from one of the largest Ag Expos in the Northwest.

"Every year there's something new... something different. We have new vendors coming in every year, so there's always some turnover and its always a different show every year."

This year marks the 37th year of Agri–Action in Twin Falls.

But what exactly is Agri–Action?

"Agri–Action is an Ag show that features local vendors from the Magic Valley and from throughout the Northwest and actually throughout the country... They come to Twin Falls to show their wares and show the latest and greatest in what's new in ag."

If you have been to the show you know that you can expect to see everything under the sun when it comes to farming and the agriculture community.

But this year's show has a little something new.

"one of the things that were doing this year that's a little different is we're going to utilize the Herrett Center for an agriculture type of show... a little more of a home, softer side of ag featuring different things, different exhibits and vendors were looking for.”
Said Agri-Action Representative, Scott Pierce.

“Well have seminars throughout the show... A&G Irrigation sponsors our seminars and those are always popular."

The show gets underway January 30th through February 1st.

And with almost 100 vendors attending last year, space is starting to fill up fast.

"We would like to have vendors singed up by the middle of January to get involved in the show so we have time to get everything organized."
Said Pierce.

And if you are on the fence about signing up... This is what Agri–Action can offer you.

"developing relationships, solidifying deals... as well as just building relationships with the people in the Magic Valley... the farmers and the ag people that are walking though the show looking for products and services."

Building relationship and business connections to make the growing season and the community thrive.

If you're interested in signing up as a vendor for this year's show.

You have up until January 17th to do so.
