Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) This time of year is busy at Agri-Service. Mechanics are busy fixing tractors while the parts department is constantly making sure replacement equipment is in stock.

"Tractors just overheating, the biggest thing this week was air conditionings not cooling enough. Baler wise we actually had a really good first cutting," said Kevin Bermingham, a mechanic at Agri-Service.

Preventive maintenance can often save you time and money. There are some things you can do to keep your tractors and farm equipment running properly.

"The biggest thing is just I mean keeping it greased up, tractors, fuel filters, keeping the water out of the fuel, just simple things like that," said Kevin Bermingham.

If you start noticing problems, it’s important to get your tractor or machinery checked and serviced. Fixing a problem early can save you headaches down the road.

"The biggest thing is to make a phone call for service because I mean preventive can save a lot of money verses just keeping the thing running out in the field and blowing it up and causing more expense in the long run," said Kevin Bermingham.

Agri-Service has service mechanics available around the clock. They are always ready to head out to your farm no matter the time of day.

"Yep 24/7, somebody is always on call, at least one person if not two or three," said Kevin Bermingham.
