UPDATE: Accident Closes U.S. Highway 30 Between Filer And Buhl

UPDATE: Buhl, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A 3 vehicle crash on Highway 30 between Buhl and Filer Closed a portion of that road for about a half hour Monday afternoon. Idaho State Police investigated the accident at milepost 204 at the intersection of 1700 East. Police say Cassidee E. Kippes, 17 of Buhl had stopped in the Eastbound lane of U.S. 30 preparing to make a left turn. Elizandro F. Brito, 75 of Twin Falls came to a stop behind her when Ernesto Ayaly-Guarderrama 24, of Wendell failed to yield in time and rear ended Brito’s vehicle which in turn pushed that vehicle into Kippes. Enedina C. Brito, 60 of Twin Falls who was a passenger in Elizandro’s vehicle was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

Buhl, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Highway 30 has been reopened after an afternoon accident.
Authorities worked to clear an accident that occurred about 4:30 this afternoon on U.S. Highway 30 at Milepost 204 between Buhl and Filer. Both the East and Westbound lanes of traffic are currently blocked at the intersection of 1700 east in Twin Falls County. No reports of serious injuries at this time.
