Boise, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Acting on phone calls to Ada County Dispatchers late last night Boise Police and the Idaho Fish and Game located and shot a mountain lion that was spotted in the area of Boise State University and the greenbelt, just north of the College’s stadium. The cat, police say, was shot as it walked across the greenbelt pathway. Police began getting phone calls about the cat around 11:30pm Monday night. In a news release, police said, “It is unfortunate that the incident ended this way, however, safety for the citizens of Boise has to be the primary concern when conflicts of this nature take place in an urban environment like downtown Boise. “
