Vehicle Found Submerged In Twin Falls Pond

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - This morning, Twin Falls Fire and rescue crews were sent to a city maintained retaining pond near Highland and Noble on a report that a vehicle was submerged. The call for help came in at 8:41 am. At 8:54, a dive team member was called to help search. It was determined that no one was in the car. Authorities at the scene said the small car was reported stolen yesterday and had been “stripped” before it was pushed into the water. The Silver Honda was reported stolen about 1pm Tuesday from the Oregon Trail Elementary school in Twin Falls. City workers reported the incident earlier in the morning. The police are continuing their investigation and as soon as more details are released Idaho’s First News will report the latest.
