5 Year Old Safe After Mother Kidnaps Him

Sublett, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Three people are in jail this weekend after a kidnapping that allegedly began in Meridian and ended in Sublett, which is about 30 miles from Utah.

Idaho State Police say this all started at a business in Meridian around 4 p.m. Saturday where a man was attacked by a taser and had his five year son taken from him.

Troopers were notified and around 7 p.m. one of the troopers located and pulled over the suspects in Sublett. Cassia County deputies assisted in the effort.

Korey MacDonald, the boy’s non-custodial mother, Jonathan MacDonald, her husband and brother Justin Reeves were all arrested and transported to the Mini-Cassia Detention Center.

They are being held on a variety of charges from kidnapping to battery and aggravated battery.
