7 Taken To Hospital Following Crash

Elmore County, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Two people were air-lifted, while five were taken by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus in Boise following a rollover crash on I-84.

The incident happened at milepost 86 in Elmore County Saturday evening. The driver of a Ford Excursion lost control for unknown reasons, left the roadway and rolled the vehicle several times, according to the Elmore County Sheriff's Office.

The adult female passenger was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. The female driver needed to be extricated. Five children were also riding in the SUV.

None of the injuries are life-threatening.

Three ambulances from the Elmore Ambulance Service, the Elmore County Extrication Unit, the Mountain Home Rural Fire Department, and air ambulances from Air Saint Lukes and LifeFlight Network also responded.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash and the investigation is still on-going.
