UPDATE: Highway 26 Open After Fatal Crash
UPDATE: An Idaho Falls woman has died after colliding her motorcycle with a semi on Highway 26.
Around four Saturday afternoon, 43–year old Jan Boline was headed west on a 2003 Harley Davidson when she lost control, crossed the road and hit a 2007 Freightliner. Idaho State Police say 46–year old Twin Falls resident Goran Mandura tried to avoid hitting the motorcycle, but wasn't able to. Boline wasn't wearing a helmet and died at the scene. After blocking the highway, crews opened all lanes of travel around eight this evening. The crash remains under investigation. ORIGINAL STORY: Lincoln County, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Idaho State Police advise all motorists to avoid the area of Highway 26 between Carey and Richfield because of a fatal car crash.
