Another Thunderstorm Predicted For Parts of Southern Idaho Today

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - A red flag warning in effect for Twin Falls, Gooding, Cassia and parts of Lincoln, Jerome and Blaine Counties between noon and 9 p.m.

Thunderstorms will move in this afternoon and the main threat will be gusty surface winds over 25mph and low humidity.

There will also be a few storms here that may produce even stronger wind gusts and lightning, but little rainfall.

Either type of event can lead to new fires and/or the rapid spread of ongoing fires.

If you see a new fire start, please call 911 immediately.

If a fire is threatening your location or evacuations have been ordered, please move to safety quickly.
