Blaine County Authorities Arrest Seven People During Drug Raid In Bellevue
Bellevue, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Blaine County authorities say that shortly after 6 am this Thursday morning, the counties Narcotics Enforcement Team served a search warrant at a home on Oak Street in Bellevue. The warrant was part of an ongoing investigation and was served at 516 oak Street. The warrant was executed by members of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms SWAT team with the assistance of the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office SERT team.
Esteban Villegas-Gamez, 39 of Bellevue was arrested on Federal felony charges of Distribution of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Posession of a Firearm. Roberto Javier Garcia, 29 of Bellevue was arrested on Idaho felony charges of Unlawful possession of a firearm.
Distractive devices were used in the service of the search warrant, resulting in loud noises heard in Bellevue this morning. “No weapons were fired and all arrests were without injury or incident,” said Blaine County Sheriff Gene Ramsey.
Subsequent to these arrests, a related investigation resulted in the additional arrests of 5 other individuals: Carlos Moya-Diaz, 29, of Hailey was arrested on one felony count of Drug Trafficking in Methamphetamine. Roberto Martinez-Perez 34, of Hailey was arrested on one felony count of Aid and Abet Trafficking in Methamphetamine. Ricardo Torres-Gomez,23, of Bellevue was arrested on two felony counts of Delivery of Methamphetamine. Gildardo Orozco, 37, of Hailey was arrested on two felony counts of Delivery of Methamphetamine and one felony count of Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine. Ismael Hernandez-Valle, age 18, of Hailey was arrested on one Federal felony count of Distribution of Methamphetamine. Only Hernandez-Valle and Villegas-Gamez currently face Federal charges; all other defendants are facing charges in Blaine County for the State of Idaho.
