UPDATED INFORMATION: Boating Accident Near Dierkes Lake

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) One person remains in the hospital after a boating accident on the Snake River last night.
Officials say six people were in the boat when it crashed into some rocks on the shore east of Dierkes Lake.
Officials estimate that the boat was going between 40 and 45 mph.
Because of its location it took emergency crews about a half hour to reach the scene of the accident.
Two people were taken to St. Luke’s Magic Valley.
One was treated and released and the other a female was life flighted to Boise.
The investigation into the accident is continuing but officials say speed was a factor.
