Car Leaves Scene Of Accident After Striking Boy On Skateboard

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Twin Falls Police are investigating a hit and run accident that has injured a boy riding his skateboard. The incident happened at 10:44 am Tuesday. According to the 16 year old male, he was in a crosswalk on Locust when he was hit by a car. He then walked to 488 Blue Lakes Blvd. North in Twin Falls where he called police. The teen claims he was flipped on the hood of the vehicle and then fell to the ground. The victim said the car, described as a black four door, continued traveling northbound. He was taken to the hospital with what authorities say were minor injuries.
Police are asking that if anyone saw this incident or noticed a dark colored possibly 4 door vehicle with minor damage to the hood, to contact the non emergency line at 735-4357.
