UPDATE: Driver OK Following Semi Crash

UPDATE (Sunday 2:31 p.m.) Buhl, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Idaho State Police say Walter Tibbets, 44 of Hazelton lost control of the semi truck after avoiding a would-be collision. Police say a car crossed over the center lane, and Tibbets avoided the car, but ended up overcorrecting and lost control of the the semi. The truck jack knifed on the right shoulder.

He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Both lanes of Clear Lakes Grade were blocked for several hours.

UPDATE (11:09 p.m.) Buhl, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The Clear Lakes Grade in Buhl is now open following a semi truck accident.

ORIGINAL STORY: Buhl, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV) Clear Lakes Grade in Buhl is currently blocked due to a semi crash.

According to SIRCOMM dispatchers, law enforcement was diverting traffic at the top and bottom of the grade.

The incident happened just before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. Only the semi truck was involved in the crash.
