Burley, Idaho (KMVT-TV, KTWT-TV) – The eastern South Hills and Goose Creek areas have experienced flash floods caused by the heavy rains we’ve received in the past several days, according to the Bureau of Land Management. The BLM Burley Field Office staff has recorded severe damage to large portions of the Cold Springs and Buckhorn roads southeast of Twin Falls and the Little Birch Creek road south of Oakley. Other roads nearby may have similar damage or may be impassable.

BLM crews will work throughout the weekend to repair damages. Members of the public may experience delays or road closures of short duration when travelling along these areas.

For more information, you can contact the BLM Burley Field Office at 208-677-6600.
