Two Taken To Hospital Following Afternoon Crash In Gooding County
Wendell, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Two vehicles collided around 4:00 p.m. at 2200 East, 3300 South in Gooding County.
Idaho State Police say Vanessa Taylor, 22, of Wendell, was westbound on 3300 S in a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Meanwhile, Douglas Giltner, 60, of Jerome, was southbound on 2200 E in a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado.
Police say Taylor ran a stop sign and struck Giltner's vehicle on the driver's side. Both vehicles went off the roadway.
Giltner's vehicle overturned, landing on its roof.
Taylor was taken to St. Luke's Magic Valley by ambulance while Giltner was air-lifted to the hospital.
Police say Giltner has his seatbelt on, but Taylor didn't.
This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

Wendell QRU, Idaho State Police and other agencies responded to the incident. A helicopter was also called, according to SIRCOMM dispatchers.
