UPDATE: Kimberly Woman Dies In Highway 30 Crash
UPDATE: A Kimberly woman has died following a car crash this afternoon on Highway 30.
Idaho State Police say 71–year old Paula Greene of Filer was headed west in a red Dodge Intrepid when she drifted out of her lane. Her vehicle hit a tan Toyota Corolla, head–on, driven by 65–year old Raquel Solis of Kimberly. Solis' car went off the roadway. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her passenger, 28–year old Luis Solis, also of Kimberly, was taken to ground ambulance to Saint Luke's Magic Valley. He has unknown injuries. Crews initially took Greene to Saint Luke's, but she was later transported to Saint Alphonsus in Boise. She is listed in critical condition. Greene was not wearing her seatbelt. Raquel and Luis both had seatbelts according to police. Crews blocked lanes for approximately three hours. ORIGINAL STORY: Kimberly, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Traffic is being re-routed after a head-on collision near Chobani on Kimberly Road. Eastbound lanes are blocked.
