TWIN FALLS, ID (KMVT) A long-time spokesman for a local car dealership has passed away. Dave Campo, who was called the Car Sales Evangelist, encouraged potential customers to "come on down" to the now defunct Latham Motors.

Campo's high energy sales pitch included enthusiastic trademark phrases like "Today!" "Push, pull, or drag it in!" and "Right heeerre!"

Campo lived in Twin Falls for several years, but he hawked cars on TV commercials across the nation in states including Pennsylvania, Kansas, and Maryland. More of his taglines were, "Look at this, friends!" and "'What do you do?"

However Campo's most familiar signoff was, "Let's pick up the phone – Let's give a call" and "We'll see ya here!"

A celebration of Campo's life will be held this Saturday, September 17th at Rosenau Funeral Home on Addison Avenue East from 4 to 7 p.m.
