Fairfield Woman Charged With Kidnapping In Boise

Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - A 35 year old Fairfield woman is in trouble after authorities found evidence she was intentionally preventing a child from being returned to individuals with legal custody of the child. Boise police say Tasha R. Bliley of Fairfield was charged with 1st degree kidnapping, child custody interference, injury to a child and resisting and obstructing officers. This after authorities were contacted yesterday, August 13, by the child’s legal guardian that a child had not returned home in a timely manner. Officers from patrol and the Special Victim's Unit began investigating. During their investigation, detectives found evidence that also indicated the suspect intentionally had placed the child into a situation likely to cause harm to that child. Officers spent several hours searching and were able to locate the child and the suspect at a motel. As officers were trying to take the suspect into custody, she fought and struggled. Officers were able to ensure the child was returned to the child's legal guardian. The suspect was booked into the Ada County Jail.
