Four People Arrested In Minidoka County Following Major Drug Bust

Minidoka County, Idaho (KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - The Minidoka County Sheriff in a statement issued Friday morning said that they have arrested four people following a seven month drug investigation. Sheriff Eric Snarr identified the four as Angelina Nava, 31 of Burley, Elizabeth Cardenas-Rodriguez, 18, of Burley, Porfirio Gutierrez, 36 of Los Angeles California and Araxy Suarez, 21 of Downy California, The four were arrested Wednesday November 6. Over 1.45 pounds of Methamphetamine was seized during the course. Chief Deputy David Pinther said they estimate the street value to be about $25,000 to $26,000

Nava was charged with one count of Trafficking Methamphetamine and two counts of injury to a child.

Cardenas-Rodriquez and Gutierrez were both charged with two counts of Trafficking Methamphetamine.

Suarez was charged with one count of trafficking Meth.

Each person’s bail set at $500,000. Snarr said that their department worked with the U.S. department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration, the U.S. Immigration custom Enforcement Homeland Security, the Idaho State Police and the Cassia County Sheriffs Office.
