Hailey Man In Critical Condition After Being Shot By Another Man
Hailey, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - A Hailey man is in a Boise hospital today with a gunshot wound to the abdomen while another Hailey man was arrested. This after an altercation in the Subway restaurant parking lot on Main Street in Hailey on Saturday night.
Authorities say Subway employee Nathan Deford, 25, was leaving the restaurant after closing about midnight Saturday when Anthony Parsons, 29, approached him.
Hailey Police Chief Jeff Gunter said Deford apparently owed Parson’s money which is what allegedly caused a verbal argument to begin. As that argument continued, another Hailey resident, Adam K. Boyd 30, a friend of Deford’s, allegedly pulled a .40 caliber pistol from his vehicle and shot Parson’s once in the midsection.
Parson’s was transported to St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise where he is in critical but stable condition. Boyd was taken into custody and charged with aggravated battery with a weapons enhancement, Police Chief Gunter said.
