Jerome Man Dies From A Gun Shot Wound
UPDATE: Jerome authorities have released more information about the shooting. The shooting happened in a garage at 57 North Ridge Way, South of Jerome. Upon arrival deputies discovered a 47 year old male with a fatal gunshot wound. Authorities identified the victim as Jerry L. Davis of Hollister. A second male adult was in the garage when the gun discharged. The witness was later released.
When the investigation is complete, authorities say the case will be reviewed by the Jerome County Prosecutor's Office. The investigation is continuing at this time.
Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Jerome county sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting.
It happened around 10 am at a home five miles south of Jerome.
There is one man confirmed dead with a single gunshot wound.
Jerome county sheriff Doug McFall is treating this as a high-profile investigation due to what he calls "undetermined circumstances."
The name of the individual is pending as the police need to inform the family. Jerome City Police and the Idaho State Police are assisting the Jerome County Sheriff’s office in the investigation.
