Man Dies After Being Trapped Between Semi-Trailer And Front End Loader At Gooding Dairy

Gooding, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A 43 year old Gooding man was killed on a Gooding county dairy last night around 9:30 when he was pinned between a semi truck bed and a front end loader. According to a Gooding County Sheriff Department report, Higinio Ledesma was working on a semi-truck rolling bed style of trailer and had a log chain wrapped around a front end loader. According to the report, the loader began to roll, pinning the victim between the loader and the trailer. A person on the dairy ran to the man’s rescue and began CPR. He was later transported by Life Flight to St. Luke’s in Boise where he succumb to his injuries. The accident occurred northwest of Gooding at 1357 South and 1800 East. Authorities have determined that the incident was an accident ruling out foul play.
