Mountain Home, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - The Elmore County Sheriffs Office has assigned a phone number for Property Owners to call and find out the status of their homes. Officials ask that only property owners in the affected fire areas use the number. The phone number will be staffed daily from 9am to 8pm. The phone number for property owners to call is 208-653-2505. Residents may also direct questions by emailing pineincidentcommand@gmail.com

Due to unsafe conditions, (downed tree’s etc) access is still closed.
The Elmore County Sheriff’s office is working with Idaho Power and the USFS to allow a window of opportunity for escorted homeowners to assess their property. A tentative date has been set for Monday August 19th, 2013. There will be a news release sent when a date has been confirmed.
We are currently working with Forest Service mapping personnel and the Elmore County Assessor’s office to make sure we provide accurate information regarding property that was damaged.
