Plane Bound For Salt Lake City Makes Emergency Landing In Twin Falls

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) A plane from Sun Valley headed to Salt Lake City took an emergency landing Saturday in Twin Falls.

A Brazilia plane landed at Magic Valley Regional Airport after one of the engines gave out while in flight.

The plane had 25 passengers aboard.

Emergency personal were called to the airport for safety precautions, no one was injured.

They are unsure of what caused the engine to fail and are currently fixing the engine problem.

"Skywest has their own team of mechanics a lot of times they'll come up here and fix it onsite it just depends on what the actual issue was with it," adds Matt Barnes, Airport Maintenance and Operations.

The airport is doing their best to accommodate the passengers.
