Police In Jerome Looking For Man Who Ran From Traffic Stop
Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Jerome Police are searching for a man described in his mid-20’s who ran from police after an attempted traffic stop. It’s believed the suspect tossed something out of the car during the chase. The search is in the northern part of the city from 16th street to 20th street and Davis Street. Authorities are looking for a male described to be wearing a black hat and a red shirt or t-shirt. The pursuit began just before 2pm this afternoon involving a Red car. Jefferson and Summit elementary schools in that area of town have been notified not to release children at this time while police continue their search. Police are asking if any resident of the area see’s someone who matches the description to contact 911. Also, authorities ask that if anyone witnessed the suspect throwing something out of the vehicle to contact police as well.
