Potato Truck Overturns In Twin Falls County

Twin Falls County, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Traffic was diverted for two hours after a potato truck overturned Sunday morning in Twin Falls County.

Idaho State Police say the crash happened on 4700 North near 745 East at approximately 10 a.m.

Burley resident Eugene Valdez was headed west in a semi hauling a load of potatoes, when police say he was driving too fast for conditions.

The 66-year old ended up driving off the shoulder where the semi overturned. He was taken to the hospital.

Officials say he was wearing a seat-belt.
