UPDATED INFORMATION: Power Out In Parts Of Twin Falls After Vehicle Hits Pole Along Addison

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Residents and Businesses were without power this afternoon, after a Suburban struck a power pole. The accident occurred near D and B Supply along Addison Avenue. Idaho Power says 1830 customers in Twin Falls and Kimberly were without electricity. The accident occurred about 3:30 this afternoon. A man driving a Chevy Suburban struck the pole. He was not injured. Power company workers will remain on the scene until all power is restored and police have re-routed traffic to accommodate the workers.

As of 5:10pm, an Idaho Power representative said they hope to have power restored to the remaining 1100 customers by 8pm tonight.
