Power Outage In Parts Of Twin Falls This Morning

UPDATE: Power has been restored to the customers according to Idaho Power officials. The cause, was a mylar Balloon that became entangled in the power lines near the Harrison School, causing the power to trip. Power was off for about a half hour.

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - A portion of Twin Falls is without power this Monday morning. Brad Bowlin with Idaho Power said 652 Customers went dark at 10:49am. The area affected include Filer avenue to Falls on Harrison Street, Munroe to Madrona, Walnut on Blue Lakes to Locust. The power outage includes the College Of Southern Idaho and some businesses. Crews are working to make the outage as short as possible but it’s not known how long the outage will last.
