UPDATE: Rock Creek Fire Department Respond To Structure Fire

Kimberly, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Today, a structural fire broke out in a neighborhood near Kimberly.

A fire was reported in the neighborhood of 3782 North and 3560 East near Kimberly.

The fire started in the garage of a home and was contained there.

On scene was the Rock Creek Fire District, where they say the home is vacant and no injuries have been reported.

As of now the cause of the fire is unknown, and is under investigation.

"As of now we are still conducting an investigation,” said Brent Blamires, Captain for Rock Creek Fire District. “We won't know that for some time. We do feel that it was an unintentional activation."

The Rock Creek Fire District says the fire started around 10 a.m., and was extinguished in approximately 30 minutes.
