HEYBURN, ID (KMVT-TV) Details are sketchy but KMVT has confirmed that multiple search warrants were served on at least two different locations in Minidoka county this morning. Mike Fica with the U.S. Attorney’s Office said the warrants were served on locations operated by the Moyle Mink farm in Heyburn. Officials with federal and state agencies were at the scene including law enforcement officials with the multi jurisdictional Federal 'Immigrant and Customs Enforcement' agency known as 'ICE'. Without referring specifically to this morning's situation at the Moyle Mink Farm- Fica said ICE agents can aid with the prosecution of state fish and game regulations if such action also potentially involves interstate transportation of goods. Fica said it's not yet been determined if charges will be filed. More information may be released later today by the U.S. Justice department.
