UPDATED INFORMATION: Semi Truck Accident Backs Traffic Up On I-84
Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Traffic was backed up for a while this evening on I 84.
All eastbound traffic was blocked at milepost 168, near Jerome, due to a crash involving a semi. Officers and the Idaho Transportation Dep artment were on scene diverting traffic. It appears that the truck struck a vehicle which may have been stopped along the freeway. The truck burst into flames. So far no official information on exactly what happened has been made available.
