Semi Truck Rolls Near Hansen Bridge

UPDATE: 12:19PM - The authorities say the Hansen bridge is now open to traffic.

Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Idaho State Police say no one was injured after a semi truck driver lost control near the Hansen Bridge on Highway 50. Police report that the semi damaged about 75 feet of Guard Rail and a Traffic Camera. No one was injured in the single vehicle accident reported about 7 am this Monday morning but the road will be closed as the tow truck works to remove the wreckage. That process began about 8:20 am. According to A-1 towing, they expect the road to be closed for about 2 hours or till about 10:30 am. If your travels include that area, you should seek an alternate route. At this time what caused the accident has not been released to Idaho’s First News.
