Severe Thunderstorm Watch For Southeastern Idaho Until 11 p.m. MDT

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 11 p.m. MDT for the following counties in southeastern Idaho – Blaine, Cassia, Lincoln and Minidoka. In Northern Nevada, Eklo county until 10 p.m. PDT

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch mean severe weather is possible in and around the watched area. Strong storms have been forming all afternoon across southern Idaho, northern Nevada and northern Utah. These storms have a history of small hail, gusty winds of 50 mph, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. Some of these storms could potentially turn severe.
