UPDATE: Man in Custody on Battery Charges, Victim Air Lifted to Boise
UPDATE (1:27 PM, 07/09/13) Shoshone, Idaho - A man is charged with misdemeanor battery after he beat a man.
25 year old William Greener posted bond on Tuesday.
The victim, 19 year old Blue Hadden, is set to be released from St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center Tuesday afternoon.
No court date has been set at this time.
UPDATE (12:42 AM, 07/09/13) Shoshone, Idaho - A man is behind bars and another in a Boise hospital following what police are calling a "fight club" style incident that went too far.
Shoshone Police say 25 year old William Greener of Shoshone and 19 year old Blue Hadden, also of Shoshone, engaged in a 'fight club' style match.
Witnesses tell police that the fight got out of hand and Greener continued to attack Hadden.
Hadden left the house and began screaming for help at the corner of S Alta St. and E A St. in Shoshone.
That's when witnesses called 911 and when arriving on the scene, air ambulance assistance was brought in.
Hadden was air lifted to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
Police located Greener and arrested him on battery charges.
Greener is currently being held in the Gooding County Jail.
The prosecutor will examine the case and formal charges are expected to come Tuesday morning.
The investigation into Monday evening's events is still ongoing at this time.
UPDATE ( 10:25 PM ) Highway 93 is reopen following an incident requiring air ambulance assistance.
According to dispatch officials, a patient had to be picked up after being severely beaten at 8:57 PM.
The Shoshone Police Department is currently searching for a suspect in the incident.
Shoshone, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Traffic on Highway 93 is blocked for air ambulance assistance.
Air St. Luke's was called in just south of 7 Mile Road on Highway 93 and has to land on the highway.
According to dispatch officials, this is for a report of someone being severely beaten.
