Two Air-Lifted, One Treated And Released After Accident Near Rupert
Minidoka County, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Three were sent to the hospital following a two vehicle crash Thursday night. Idaho State Police say it happened at 75 West, 300 South near Rupert.
56–year old Burley resident George Bunn was headed east on 300 South in a Ford F-150 while 64–year old Burley resident Gerald Heward driving a semi tractor hauling sugar beets, tried to turn left on 300 South. But he didn't yield to Bunn and the truck hit the middle of the trailer, lodging underneath.
Bunn and his passenger 53– year old Teresa Bunn also of Burley were air lifted to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello. Meanwhile a 15-year old was taken to Minidoka Memorial Hospital.
The road was blocked for more than 3.5 hours.
