Goat Cheese with Peppered Grapes

1 cup seedless grapes, halved
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1/2 teaspoon orange zest
salt to taste
1/2 cup goat cheese (Cream cheese will also work in this recipe.)
crackers or bread slices
orange peel for garnish

In a small mixing bowl, stir together the halved grapes, black pepper, balsamic vinegar
and orange zest. Season with salt and place the bowl in the refrigerator to develop
flavors for 1-2 hours. When ready to serve, place the goat cheese on a small serving
dish. Pour the grapes over the top of the cheese and surround the cheese and grapes
with the crackers or bread slices. Garnish the plate with orange peel and serve.
